Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, assisting patients with activities of daily living, mobility, and rehabilitation goals. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for residents recovering from stroke, orthopedic surgery, neurological conditions, and general medical decline. Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes in the EMR system while collaborating with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to help patients improve independence and quality of life. This full-time role offers consistent daytime scheduling in a supportive team environment focused on high-quality geriatric care.
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State COTA license
- Intermediate or more advanced level English language proficiency (read, write, speak, understand)
