Job Summary
Lead and perform in character-themed shows using scripts and improvisation while wearing bulky costumes for extended periods. Engage audiences in live activities, encourage guest participation, and promote recreation facilities through tours and information. Serve as a host for events, explain facility rules, and respond to emergencies or unsafe conditions per operating procedures. Prepare for shows, clean equipment, and maintain professional appearances. Welcome guests, address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities using clear communication. Perform other duties including visual inspections and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Minimum of 1-year customer or sales experience
- Previous public performance, acting, and entertainment experience
- experience entertaining children and large groups of people
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
