Job Summary
Manage costing tasks within critical path dates and deliver insights to USA Costing for setting special process cost standards, material freight matrices, and LOP guidelines. Analyze spec and cost changes across development and production stages to reduce complexity, while monitoring and updating Deckers costing standards seasonally. Document the costing process from origination through completion and build relationships with BU Costing and functional departments to optimize prices and margins. Requires five years of product costing experience, footwear construction knowledge, and fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- College Degree or above
- More than 5 years of product costing experience
- Experienced with footwear constructions and production process
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Possess strong teamwork and integrity
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Accept changes positively
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers
- Manual dexterity required
