Job Summary
Cost/Staff Accountant II performs advanced accounting under US GAAP, leading complex journal entries, financial statements, budgets/forecasts, multi-state tax compliance, and internal controls. Partners with the Director of Finance to provide analytical, technical, and operational accounting support; responsibilities include inventory control, labor reporting, BOM review, cost development, variance analysis, ERP proficiency (Syteline), and production reporting integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Effective communicator and collaborative team member
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office, advanced Excel (pivot tables, power query) and Power BI preferred
- Strong analytical and financial acumen
- Working knowledge of ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to sit at a desk and work in front of a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day
- Must be able to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently as needed
