Cost & Pricing Analyst

Job Summary
Develop cost volumes and pricing proposals for RFPs and RFQs by performing detailed cost estimating for labor, materials, subcontracts, and indirect rates. Build and maintain pricing models, Basis of Estimate documentation, and pricing databases while conducting competitive analysis and cost realism assessments. Ensure full compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and TINA requirements during proposal reviews and negotiations with government customers. Provide ongoing support for cost tracking, profitability variance analysis, and rate development on awarded contracts through cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams. Work on-site in Logan, UT, Monday through Friday, with occasional domestic travel.
Required Qualifications
- Must be U.S. persons within the definition of ITAR, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical, organizational, and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to financial and operational data accuracy
- Basic understanding of manufacturing operations, operational finance, inventory, BOM, and cost analysis
- Ability to analyze operational data and support reporting activities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel
- Ability to maintain accurate records, reports, and supporting documentation
- Ability to work effectively with finance, operations, supply chain, and other cross-functional personnel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment regarding financial and operational information
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements
- Ability to work on-site in Logan, UT Monday-Fridays office hours
- Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 15 pounds
- Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance
- May occasionally require travel to other Spartronics domestic sites
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in finance, accounting, proposal analysis, government data reporting, or related analytical experience
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, Cost Accounting Standards, TINA, and CPD preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Experience utilizing ERP systems, financial reporting systems, or manufacturing databases
- Experience within aerospace or defense cost analysis or equivalent industry experience
