Job Summary
Support cost engineers and Opex teams on seasonal cost analysis and mitigation efforts. Assist in creating new garment cost breakdown capture tools by scoping requirements, identifying needs, and testing the new costing system and EDP analytics solution. Manage documentation and training processes to onboard internal and external users to the costing system and new analytics platforms. Work across time zones with clear communication. Requires 1-3 years in cost or financial analysis, proficiency in Excel, and experience with PLM systems. Located in New York, NY (Hybrid).
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in cost analysis, financial analysis, or a related role
- Familiarity with cost optimization techniques and methodologies
- Experience with data analytics and reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools)
- Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems, preferably Centric PLM
- 2-3 days in office (Tues - Thurs), 2 days will be remote
- 40 hours but flexible to less hours
Desired Qualifications
- experience in the apparel or garment industry is a plus
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus
