Job Summary
Cost Manager in Cairo to support the Commission Manager across pre-contract to construction phases for Real Estate projects. You will produce Bills of Quantities, conduct measurements and pricing of building and MEP works, manage post-contract processes including interim applications and change control, and interface with clients and contractors. Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in cost consultancy within Real Estate, knowledge of standard form contracts (FIDIC preferred), and in-country experience in Egypt; MRICS membership is advantageous. The role emphasizes accuracy, delivery of client objectives, and collaboration with a professional team to support ambitious project portfolios across 118 offices in 50 countries.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
- 5 – 10 years of experience in similar roles
- In country (Egypt) experience is required
- Experience with pre-contract services from feasibility through tendering, measurement and pricing of building and MEP works
- Experience with post-contract services, interim applications, change management processes and variation valuation
- Experience working with standard form contracts; FIDIC knowledge preferred
