Cost Manager (Sports & Recreation Programs)

Job Summary
Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow reports for senior technical staff. Review all change orders in accordance with client approval processes and verify invoice completeness and coding before forwarding them to the client's accounts payable department. Oversee contractor buyouts of subcontract bid packages and attend weekly cost meetings to review procurement and change order status with contractors and engineering teams. Provide cost information for value engineering analysis and review contractor close-out administration to ensure contractual requirements are met. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction, Architecture, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying with four years of relevant experience, proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics/D365, and onsite availability in Queens, NY. Preferred experience includes sports, recreation, and hospitality programs.

- Bachelors degree in Construction, Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- four years relevant experience

- excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/D365
Desired Qualifications
- experience with either Primavera
- Microsoft Project
- thorough understanding and utilization of Information Technology including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite
- previous experience with sports, recreation, and/or hospitality programs
