Cost Manager / Senior Cost Manager - MEP

Job Summary
Lead MEP commission management by establishing early budgets, producing final cost plans, and managing single and two-stage tendering processes. Oversee post-contract reporting, cost variances, and change control while negotiating final accounts and interfacing with clients and consultants. Manage a cost management team to deliver on full project lifecycle deliverables, including feasibility studies, procurement reports, and value engineering. Ensure timely cost checking and valuations across all projects. Mentor colleagues and advance MEP digital systems while engaging with the broader engineering and supply chain community.
Required Qualifications
- A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle
- Professionally qualified (RICS or AIQS) or working towards
- Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time
- Experience in delivering MEP elements of work for clients
- Knowledge & contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below)
- Utilising digital software for delivery of cost management services
- Commercially astute with good negotiation skills
- Excellent people person and great communicator, both client facing and team based
