Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor - Data Center Construction (Heavy Civil)

Job Summary
Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor for data center construction with a focus on heavy civil and site development. This remote role within the United States requires strong client-facing communication, disciplined cost management, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to deliver cost plans, detailed estimates, procurement strategies, and cost reporting. Responsibilities include vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, development and maintenance of cost plans, reviewing proposals, value engineering support, cost reporting and budgeting, change order tracking, risk assessment, close-out activities, and maintaining cost data for benchmarking. Travel to project sites as needed and alignment with SOX controls when applicable. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of relevant experience; US-based, with relocation assistance not indicated.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in cost management within construction, with exposure to large-scale infrastructure or heavy civil projects
- Experience supporting fast-paced construction programs with significant site development components
- Experience supporting cost management on medium to large projects
- Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred
- Good understanding of construction methods, procurement strategies, and commercial management principles
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to travel to project sites as required
- On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs
