Job Summary
Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor for data center construction (heavy civil) focusing on disciplined, value-driven cost management across procurement, cost estimation, cost plans, change management, and reporting. Remote within the United States with occasional site travel; require US work authorization. Responsibilities include vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, cost reporting, benchmarking, risk assessments, cost control, and client-facing coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of cost-management experience on large-scale infrastructure projects; RICS accreditation is preferred. Must be based in the United States and adaptable to evolving on-site requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in cost management within construction, with exposure to large-scale infrastructure or heavy civil projects
- Experience supporting fast-paced construction programs with significant site development components
- Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred
- Good understanding of construction methods, procurement strategies, and commercial management principles
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to travel to project sites as required
- On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs
- Candidates must be physically based in the United States and legally authorized to work in the U.S.; remote work is permitted only within the United States
