Job Summary
Project Cost Manager role focusing on elevating cost management practices, improving forecasting accuracy, training PMs and PEs on cost processes and systems (e.g., cost forecasting methodologies, Schedule of Values, Billings, Change Orders, DataServ), auditing projects for profit optimization, standardizing cost practices, and providing day-to-day support for project teams. Ideal candidate has 7–15+ years in cost engineering or project controls, proficiency in Excel and cost systems, and experience with tools such as JDE, Power BI, Procore, and Microsoft Project/Primavera P6; must be able to train teams and drive behavioral change.
Required Qualifications
- 7–15+ years experience
- Strong background in Cost engineering / project controls
- Excel + Job cost systems
- OR Project Management with strong financial acumen
- Experience in self-perform or production-heavy work
