Job Summary
Director of Cost Management for the Semiconductor Sector in Boise, Idaho, leading a cost management team and delivering services across cost management, procurement, and commercial management. Responsibilities include leading client communications, market research on construction conditions, producing thought leadership, managing strategic and operational aspects of Cost Management Services, KPI-driven performance, quality control, audits, risk mitigation, and cross-selling opportunities. Requires senior leadership experience, team development and mentoring, ability to engage with senior client leadership, and a track record in delivering cost management services to clients in sectors such as data centers, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, and commercial real estate. On-site presence may be required based on client needs, with a salary range of $180k–$240k per year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
- Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred.
- 15+ years of relevant cost management or quantity surveying experience.
- 3+ years managing high performing cost management teams in a consulting environment.
- Prior people management experience.
- Proven track record of managing successful cost management service delivery for clients.
- Exceptional Business development acumen and ambition to drive business growth.
- Major construction sector experience working with high caliber clients in commercial real estate, data center, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, natural resources, etc.
- Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.
