Job Summary
Director-level Cost Management role leading a Cost Management team for the Semiconductor Sector in Boise, Idaho. Oversees delivery of cost management services, client engagement, research into construction market conditions, thought leadership, and development of the Cost Management service offering. Responsible for strategic and operational management of Cost Management Services across sectors, resource planning, budgeting, KPI-based performance, quality controls including ISO/SOX considerations, and internal/external audits. Includes business development, cross-selling opportunities, proposals/RFP responses, staff mentorship, talent development, and representing the office to clients and partners. On-site presence is required; flexible alignment may be required based on client needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
- Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred.
- 15+ years of relevant cost management or quantity surveying experience.
- 3+ years managing high performing cost management teams in a consulting environment.
- Prior people management experience.
- Proven track record of managing successful cost management service delivery for clients.
- Exceptional Business development acumen and ambition to drive business growth.
- Major construction sector experience working with high caliber clients in commercial real estate, data center, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, natural resources, etc.
- Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.
