Job Summary
Senior-level Cost & Financial Strategy Manager responsible for rigorous cost analysis, financial modeling, and economic assessment to support IMSR deployment. Develop integrated financial models for large-scale infrastructure and energy projects; prepare and maintain project finance models (cash flow projections, DCF, valuation scenarios); evaluate financing structures and funding strategies; analyze loan structures, debt sizing, and financing constraints; assess project finance metrics (IRR, NPV, DSCR, LLCR); develop cost models (LCOE, unit economics, COGS, options); perform scenario and risk analyses; translate qualitative assumptions into quantitative models; prepare concise financial summaries for senior management and Board; collaborate across strategy, engineering, and finance teams; maintain model documentation and version control; support evaluation of partnerships and strategic initiatives; contribute to financial planning for company growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related analytical discipline
- 10+ years of professional experience in financial analysis, project finance, infrastructure finance, investment banking, private equity, or energy finance
- Demonstrated experience building complex financial models in Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of capital markets, financing structures, and capital stack development
- Experience analyzing debt, equity, and hybrid financing instruments
- Ability to structure ambiguous strategic questions into rigorous financial models
- Strong quantitative reasoning and analytical capabilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present financial analyses to senior management
- High attention to detail and strong organizational discipline
