Job Summary
Review and analyze project specifications, including artwork and materials, to provide accurate cost estimates for printing and packaging projects. Work closely with the production team and clients to ensure project requirements are met, and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing and trends to ensure estimates are competitive and accurate. Collaborate with the sales team to develop pricing strategies and proposals that meet client needs and expectations. Ensure all estimates and proposals are delivered on time and are accurate.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in printing and packaging estimation
- strong understanding of digital, offset, and flexographic printing processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
- ability to create accurate and detailed cost estimates
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to collaborate effectively with clients and production teams
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
