Job Summary
Cost Estimator/Quoter for carbide manufacturing to provide accurate job quotes and support services. Work with operations and sales to quote carbide components, maintain quote records, collaborate with manufacturing, operations, sales, engineering and quality teams to ensure customer service and profitability, and generate regular reports while evaluating pricing structures and quotation procedures. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in mechanical drafting preferred; strong numeric, blueprint-reading, and communication skills to support quoting and pricing processes.
Required Qualifications
- Prior machining, engineering, or quoting experience
- Education: high school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and Skills: Solid technical, mechanical and mathematical skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other product specifications and design data
- Effective computer literacy and ability to quickly learn and use required software
- Strong attention to detail and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and with teams
