Job Summary
Cost Estimating Engineer role focusing on preparing cost calculations and quotations for new and ongoing programs, collaborating with engineering, production, and other departments to provide technical and cost inputs, analyzing changes in costs due to production/process/design updates, developing profitability analyses and business cases, reviewing technical documentation and commercial offers, and ensuring accuracy and high standards in cost estimation. Requires a university degree and strong MS Excel skills, with experience in manufacturing finance/engineering contexts and excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
Required Qualifications
- University degree (preferably in Finance, Engineering, or related field)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment within finance, engineering, or sales is a plus
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, charts, advanced formulas)
- Very good command of English for international environment
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills; ability to interpret and synthesize data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and proactive mindset
- Valid Category B driving license
- Skills: Cost Benefit Analysis, Power BI, Procurement, Internal Controls, Work Breakdown Structure, Subcontracting, Billing, SAP Applications, Risk Analysis, GAAP
