Job Summary
Cost Engineer responsible for cost control and analysis across the programme. Maintain and update budgets/forecasts, track actuals/commitments/accruals, support change control and cost impact analysis, ensure data aligns with schedule and project controls, raise PRs and review supplier applications, prepare monthly cost reports/dashboards, and collaborate with planners, commercial teams and Work Package Managers. Requires strong cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills, proficiency with Excel/Power Query or similar, experience in cost engineering or project controls (in infrastructure, energy or nuclear), and familiarity with SAP, EcoSys or Primavera. Degree in a related field and progress toward professional accreditation are essential; BPSS/DBS basic checks are part of the process.
