Job Summary
Validate contractor invoices against physical work-in-place and reconcile reported costs with actuals to restore forecast confidence. Prepare monthly cost reports and Executive Summary Reports while segregating purchase requests and issued purchase orders by Capital, Expense, and Business Entity. Conduct field verification to ensure invoiced amounts align with work-in-place, supporting active gathering of cost data for monthly cash flow analysis and forecasts. This role supports the Wilson "Bio NC" project, a multi-billion dollar investment program requiring rapid ramp-up to realign real costs with projected targets and avoid budget overruns.
Required Qualifications
- 8–15 years of project controls experience in biotech/biologics or similar regulated capital projects
- Experience on $100M+ projects (preferably $150M–$200M)
- Hybrid skill set: office analytics + field verification
- Field verification is critical
- Able to prepare monthly cost reports and Executive Summary Reports
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate established &J workbook and cost structures
- Quick ramp up matters
- Resource is expected to be onsite at the 'Bio NC jobsite' in Wilson, NC; every day and days expected to be away from work must be previously coordinated with the onsite Project Controls Manager
- Resource is expected to be well-versed in Microsoft Excel
- Resource must possess strong collaboration, communication and messaging skills
- Resource must have a proven record of excelling in large team environments
- Experience with cost systems (SAP, EcoSys, or similar)
- Experience with: forecasting, cost segregation and variance analysis, proven ability to reconcile reported costs with actuals
- Field-base verification of cost/progress
Desired Qualifications
- BS preferred in a related field
- Experience is prioritized over the degree, with justification
