Job Summary
The Cost Controller will oversee Cost Control Services, managing budget control, cost estimating, forecasting, reporting, and risk analysis. Responsibilities include maintaining project budgets, designing financial control plans, monitoring project milestones, managing procurement budgets, and analyzing cost variances. The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in engineering and 8-10 years’ experience in cost control within a multidiscipline project environment, demonstrating strong analytical and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in engineering or related discipline
- A minimum of 8-10 years’ experience as a Cost Controller/Cost Technician in a multidiscipline project environment
- Computer literacy
- Strong personal commitment to safety
- Good analytical, oral and written communication skills
- Be fully versed with cost control principles, policies and procedures and financial systems
Desired Qualifications
- Good knowledge of project management principles
- Presentation skills
