Job Summary

Cost Controller role supporting the commercial performance and success of All Energy Contracting projects in Australia and New Zealand. Develop and maintain accurate project cost forecasts, budgets, and accruals; monitor cost performance and analyse variances against budget and forecast; clearly articulate monthly cost variances with root causes and drivers; prepare detailed commercial and cost reports for project teams and leadership; identify risks and opportunities; collaborate with operations to support contracts and projects; drive continuous improvement in commercial systems and processes; provide guidance on cost control practices to project teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in cost control or commercial analysis, ideally within a project-based environment
  • Proven experience in project cost control, forecasting, and accruals
  • Extensive experience in a similar Cost Controller role within a large corporate environment
  • Experience within the energy, utilities, construction, or infrastructure industry highly regarded
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret contracts and commercial impacts
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
