Job Summary
Cost Consultant/Senior Cost Consultant responsible for leading or supporting cost management services for mechanical and electrical projects across Canada. Responsibilities include preparing construction cost estimates and cost plans, managing estimating and cost planning activities, presenting final cost plans, ensuring cost analysis and valuation are effectively handled, participating in value engineering, LEED analysis and life-cycle costing, advising on final accounts, maintaining client and consultant liaison, and preparing ME/Electrical cost estimates for asset classes. The role requires strong presentation, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with AutoCAD/Navisworks or related software. Opportunities to identify new business with existing clients and support business development are expected. Knowledge of MEP systems is an asset. Professional memberships or certifications (e.g., MRICS, PQS, CCP) are considered assets.
