Cost Basis Associate

Job Summary
Develop cost basis expertise by building understanding of cost basis methodologies, internal policies, and IRS regulations to calculate and maintain accurate client data. Reconstruct complex data by analyzing historical investment records, corporate actions, and transaction activity to resolve cost basis discrepancies and validate system outputs. Ensure accuracy and quality through meticulous review of system-generated calculations and participation in special projects to strengthen data integrity. Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance processes, support system enhancements, and drive continuous improvement. Champion lean practices by participating in daily team huddles, identifying process-improvement opportunities, and applying Lean Management tools to drive efficiency and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Minimum two years of business experience
- Strong interpersonal, research, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency; ability to learn proprietary systems
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work overtime and business-critical shifts as needed
