Job Summary
Lead cost management and estimating functions for a UK-wide hospital construction programme, delivering excellence across all areas including cost assurance, risk review, and verification of data. Provide detailed cost analysis and reporting to support commercial decision-making while managing change control and contributing to business case reviews. Engage with Trusts, cost consultants, and contractors to maintain robust cost management and reporting, ensuring alignment with client policies and tools. Support scheme delivery to maintain control of the approved baseline and drive cost predictability through continuous improvement and pragmatic conflict resolution. Contribute to the national health sector team, providing mentorship and guidance to regional team members while participating in networking pursuits to develop the brand.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant technical qualification with demonstrable track record in delivering major projects and programmes of significant value and complexity
- Strong client-focused approach with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Working towards or holding an applicable professional qualification
- Experience in construction consultancy, healthcare/life science projects, or digital software for project management
