Job Summary
Senior Cost Analyst to perform the full range of cost analyses including life cycle cost estimates (LCCE), ROM cost estimates, IGCEs and ad hoc studies; develop CARDs; lead and manage program office estimate activities; build and maintain cost/affordability models; collect, normalize, and analyze complex data; forecast funding; evaluate contracting strategy; plan for acquisition of capabilities; identify sustainment costs; prepare briefing materials for management; communicate with diverse organizations; demonstrate understanding of customer mission and provide innovative ideas. Requires US citizenship, Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain), strong Excel and risk-analysis software skills, and experience with DoD/government acquisition programs; on-site role in Orlando, FL; Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and 8+ years of cost-analysis experience. Responsibilities include leading data collection and analysis, presenting results to senior leaders, and delivering solutions within baselined schedules.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship is required.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with uncertainty/risk software packages.
- Knowledge of the Government Acquisition Programs.
- Ability to lead detail-oriented tasks and multi-task under minimal supervision.
- Ability to present analytical results to senior leaders/stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and work with large data sets.
- Possession of excellent data gathering and analytical skills.
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, engineering, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or business).
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience performing cost analyses for DoD, intelligence, or civil agency programs. Prior experience in Navy/Marine Corps sector is preferred.
- Prior experience supporting Government Acquisition Programs.
- Preferred: Prior experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Programs (ACAT I-IV).
- Preferred: Prior financial management and program management experience.
- Preferred: Proficiency with Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT), Crystal Ball or SEER for IT.
- Preferred: Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA®) or Professional Cost Estimator/Analyst (PCEA®) certification.
