Cost Analyst

Create, maintain, and improve systems for calculating product costs across manufactured, outsourced, and purchased standards. Work with operational colleagues to align cost assumptions with current manufacturing methods and supplier pricing. Support the annual standard cost roll-up process, preparing reviews and communicating material changes. Calculate and report stock valuations for inventory, work in progress, and finished goods in accordance with accounting standards. Analyze key drivers, trends, and risks to provide commentary and recommendations to management. Develop financial models and dashboards to improve visibility of cost movements and product profitability. Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning with cost assumptions and sensitivity analysis. Provide ad-hoc analysis of manufacturing efficiency and stock information for senior leadership.
