Job Summary
Support month-end close responsibilities including journal entries, reconciliations, and material variance analysis. Own and analyze daily and weekly financial and operational metrics and KPIs to support leadership decision making. Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports detailing performance of key business metrics and underlying business drivers causing variances. Assist with development and presentation of monthly business reviews. Perform routine Bill of Materials (BOM) maintenance and support annual standard cost roll and maintenance of system costs. Support Capex project management and analysis while actively participating in initiatives to improve execution and factory operational performance. Provide comprehensive finance support to enable delivery of productivity commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting or finance
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with financial reporting tools
- Demonstrated expertise in standard cost accounting
- Demonstrated expertise in variance analysis
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management
- Experience with monthly/quarterly close processes
- Experience with journal entries
- Ability to perform cost modeling and analysis
- Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Experience with production routing analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance requirements
- Experience supporting internal and external audits
- Ability to manage multiple assignments
