Job Summary
Cost Analyst / Operations Research Analyst to help the U.S. Navy and other military clients optimize funding through complex financial and cost modeling. Build Program Office Estimates and Independent Government Cost Estimates, develop dashboards for real-time decision-making, conduct Monte Carlo risk analyses with Crystal Ball, and apply Python or R for advanced statistical analysis. Present data-driven insights to leadership, translate program requirements into cost estimates, and support acquisition and budget reviews in a cross-functional team environment. Opportunities to leverage Tableau/Power BI for interactive visuals and to contribute to defense and national-security-focused projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Secret clearance
- Experience performing detailed cost or financial estimation, analysis, or forecasting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with complex logic-based formulas (VLOOKUPs/HLOOKUPs)
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with Python or R
- Experience with DoD/u.s. Navy or government programs (preferred)
- Master’s degree in Operations Research, Economics, STEM, or related field (nice to have)
- Certification such as PCEA/CCEA/SCEC/PMP (preferred)
