Cost Administration Coordinator

Job Summary
Monitor variance between actual and budgeted costs for projects, accurately enter and review job cost information into databases, and prepare files for upload. Review month-end cost-to-date reports, generate cash flow schedules, and create journal entries to support supervision through project forecasts and change order logs. Enter change orders into project systems, update approved budgets, and prepare progress reports for clients. Collaborate with Accounting Shared Services to confirm invoicing aligns with executed agreements and assist in rate development for proposal efforts. Upload documents to SharePoint and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 0-3 years of related experience with basic understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word with knowledge of various database applications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to interact with individuals internally and externally at various organizational levels
- Ability to travel as required
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field a plus
