Cost Accounting Supervisor

Job Summary
Cost Accounting Supervisor leads a Regional Cost Accounting Team providing cost accounting support and governance to Finance Business Partners and leadership across multiple sites and divisions. Responsible for standards, rates and costing model development, inventory accounting including cycle counts and variances, and analysis of cost model issues to advise on policy or process changes. Supports project- and customer-related costing efforts (e.g., Percentage-of-Completion and Point-in-Time calculations) and collaborates with Finance partners on revenue accounting. Requires a BS/BA in a relevant field with 5-7 years of experience, strong technical accounting skills, and familiarity with SAP, Oracle, and/or BPC; able to work within a decentralized matrix organization.
Required Qualifications
- BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience
- Strong technical accounting skills
- POC accounting experience preferred
- Experience in project-based organization
- Knowledge of SAP, Oracle and/or BPC is a plus
- Ability to work in decentralized matrix organizations
