Job Summary
Cost Accounting Manager role in a manufacturing environment. Lead a 2-3 person cost accounting/analyst team, deeply embed with production, engineering, and supply chain to drive cost savings and COGS optimization. responsibilities include deep-dive analysis of cost drivers, inventory optimization, implementing standard costing and variance analysis, and providing actionable insights to leadership. Requires on-site presence at Lancaster facility with weekly Pasadena HQ interaction and Los Angeles metro-area travel as needed; growth-oriented, hands-on leadership style, and willingness to work extended hours. Key competencies include ethical conduct, strong communication, financial management, mentorship, and practical problem-solving on the factory floor. Pay range: $90,000-$110,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Decades of progressive experience in manufacturing cost accounting
- Proven supervisory/management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (extensive relevant experience favored)
- Mastery of standard costing, BOM management, variance analysis, and inventory valuation
- ERP systems proficiency
