Job Summary
Consolidate and analyze global inventory and cost of sales data, updating standard costing for clinical and raw materials within the S4 HANA ERP system. Lead material ledger maintenance, manage BOTs, and perform sophisticated journal entries, general ledger analysis, and reconciliation for SAP and consolidation tools. Prepare audit schedules, review excess capacity analysis, and oversee outsourced provider work while executing monthly variance analysis by product and site. Manage and review accounting requirements including absorption tests, and support new project testing and business expansions.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree
- Master's degree and 8+ years of experience in general accounting
- Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience in general accounting
Desired Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- MBA
- Audit or Big 4 Public Accounting experience
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Strong technical US GAAP knowledge in Inventory
- Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills and be able to bridge culture differences
- Detail oriented; strong business analytical skills
- Ability to take initiative and work with a minimum level of direction in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lead projects and work with cross-functional teams
- Team/Contractor supervision experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and technology savvy
- Proficiency in AI tools such as Enterprise Chatgpt
- 5+ years of General, Intercompany and Cost Accounting experience using S4 HANA
