Job Summary
Cost Accounting Manager in Cork, Ireland, reporting to the Finance Director. Own end-to-end cost accounting in a SOX-relevant function for a US-listed company, including standard costing, inventory reserves, and period cost reporting; partner with US Corporate Controller, FP&A, Operations, and External Audit; may have direct reports. Drive process improvements, automate workflows, and ensure close-period accuracy with flexibility to work overlapping US time zones.
Required Qualifications
- Recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
- Significant experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing, hardware, or technology company.
- Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory valuation, and reserve calculations under US GAAP.
- Experience operating in a public company or SOX-compliant environment.
- Proficiency in Oracle EBS/OCI and advanced Excel skills; experience with OAS is an advantage.
