Job Summary
Cost Accounting Analyst 1 CR supports updating standard costs for the Costa Rica site in Oracle/Hyperion, prepares weekly variance and forecast reports for staff meetings (COGS and G&A), and participates in cycle count and physical inventory audits. Responsible for inventory reconciliations and KPI analysis, contributes to month-end close (journal entries, variances), analyzes material variances (PPV, MUV/WOV, scrap, period costs), assists with budgeting/forecasting, and prepares item master settings in Oracle IMCN. Requires advanced Excel, Oracle/ESSbase/Hyperion, Power BI, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and English proficiency. Education: pursuing bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or related; Experience: at least 2 years in accounting/costing roles.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 year of experience in accounting / costing roles.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including lookup and pivot tables.
- Computer skills on Microsoft Office with desirable understanding and experience with ORACLE Platform and ESSbase / Hyperion, Power BI.
- Ability to work with multi-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of intermediate accounting concepts and analytical skills.
- Intermediate /Basic English skills.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or related.
