Job Summary
Cost Accountant in a Manufacturing Division located in Rocky Hill, CT. Responsible for analyzing production costs, inventory and expenses; developing and maintaining cost accounting systems; preparing budgets and forecasts; identifying cost-improvement opportunities; collaborating with other departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data; staying current on cost accounting standards and practices. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 3+ years of cost accounting experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong analytical and detail-oriented skills; ability to work independently.
