Job Summary
Monitor inventory transactions for discrepancies, investigate outliers, and reconcile ERP reports to the general ledger monthly. Assess inventory for obsolete parts, review supplier holdings, and perform price testing to ensure accurate valuations. Calculate full absorption ratios, prepare adjusting journal entries, and update standard costs in the ERP system. Address negative quantities in perpetual reports and conduct daily cycle counts or physical inventory audits as needed. Provide financial analysis, recommend performance benchmarks, and assist with annual audits while ensuring adherence to accounting policies. This role supports inventory valuation and risk management in a small business manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
