Job Summary
Maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly pricing files by uploading information to the ERP system and prepare daily and weekly production reports including profit and loss statements, labor hour analysis, yields, and cost savings progress against plan. Collect data to develop costing profiles for new products, track inventory flow through the ERP system, and ensure accurate cycle counts and staging area reconciliations. Participate in financial and inventory audits, prepare month-end journal entries and accruals, and support annual budget preparation with ongoing monthly and year-to-date analysis. Produce variance reports for Plant Management review, review invoices for accuracy, and assist in facility problem solving while demonstrating Lean thinking.
Required Qualifications
- Experience of manufacturing cost systems
- Proficient knowledge of ERP systems (we use SAP and moving to SAP Hana)
- Proficient knowledge of cost accounting principles
- Basic knowledge of financial analysis
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful, demonstrate business acumen, creative thinking skills and be able to act as a decision maker
- Maintain confidentiality of personnel and payroll information
- Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds
- Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring
- Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Less than 4 hours
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in related field is preferred
- Auditing in a Manufacturing Environment preferred
- Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products
- Strong Excel experience including pivot tables preferred
- Experience with Power BI or other data tool is a plus
- Strong analytical and communication skills required
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrate Lean thinking and participate in facility problem solving
- BA/BS or equivalent is preferred
- Finance or Accounting
