Job Summary
Cost Accountant responsible for analyzing, tracking, and reporting manufacturing costs; maintain standard costs, analyze material, labor, and overhead variances, support month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, inventory counts, cycle counts, and production reporting. Partners with operations, engineering, procurement, and supply chain to review cost drivers, improve costing accuracy, and design inventory production flows integrated into the ERP system. Develop and communicate cost control improvements, profitability insights, and operational efficiency initiatives. Relevant qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 4-7+ years in cost accounting within manufacturing, strong Excel/ERP skills (Acumatica/Netstock a plus), GAAP knowledge, and excellent analytical and communication abilities. CMA/CPA is a plus. This on-site role is located at the Burlington, NJ facility and not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 4-7+ years of cost accounting in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Acumatica and/or Netstock a plus)
- Knowledge of GAAP and internal control requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
