Job Summary
Prepare pro forma and standard costs for new and existing products, maintaining accurate cost components for raw materials, labor, and overhead within the ERP system. Analyze historical cost performance and production work orders to identify variances, supporting monthly close activities through inventory reconciliations and journal entries. Distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on manufacturing costs and production variances to drive management decision-making and continuous process improvement. Collaborate with plant operations, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This in-office role requires a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, three to four years of experience in cost accounting or operations finance, and strong proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- 3-4 years of experience in cost accounting or operations finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and standard costing methodologies
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional operations teams
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
