Cost Accountant

Job Summary
Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory valuation while preparing standard cost models and cost roll-ups. Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Conduct margin analysis to inform pricing and profitability strategies, while assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and ERP system enhancements. Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate accounting policies. This role reports to the Plant Controller at ESAB Corporation in Denton, TX, requiring a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 3+ years of cost accounting experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cost accounting
- experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of standard costing

- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
