Job Summary
Establish and maintain standard costs for products manufactured in the Bay Minette, AL location within the Oracle ERP system. Conduct monthly analysis of standard cost variances, warranty expenses, and inventory reserves to support manufacturing operations. Assist with month-end inventory reconciliations, post journal entries, and prepare the annual local budget. Provide analysis and recommendations on purchasing and inventory management to improve flow and costs. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and analyze warranty-related expenses.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate College Degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 5+ years in manufacturing environment
- Read, write, and verbally communicate in English
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in using the personal computer, including Windows-based applications
- Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar inventory control systems
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
- Must be resourceful and a self-starter
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Must be conscientious and detail minded
- Must be able to work in fast paced, quick changing atmosphere
Desired Qualifications
- Oracle manufacturing experience is preferable
