Job Summary
Improve manufacturing costs and pricing processes by analyzing cost standards for materials and labor, scrutinizing variances, and optimizing profitability. Develop and maintain accurate financial statements, support the monthly closing process, and investigate process improvements for manufacturing expenses. Analyze inventory valuations and revenue recognition, review monthly results, and participate in internal or external auditing as requested. Coordinate the Revit transition between finance and manufacturing while communicating findings on waste reduction and inventory management to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring Sponsorship
- Must be available to work on-site daily in Hobart, Indiana
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5 years of Cost Accounting experience in a public or private company
- Knowledge of ERP system SAP for manufacturing / accounting software and programs
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Finance/Controlling (FI/CO) modules including;MM, EWM, SD, PS, MM, PP etc.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
