Cost Accountant/Assistant Controller

Maintain and improve the company's standard cost system by analyzing material, labor, and manufacturing overhead variances. Perform monthly inventory and manufacturing cost analysis, review BOMs and routings for accuracy, and monitor inventory valuation while assisting with physical inventories. Serve as the Business Central finance expert to configure costing, troubleshoot inventory posting issues, create reports and KPIs, and train users on accounting processes. Assist with month-end and year-end closing, prepare journal entries, support budgeting and forecasting, and identify automation opportunities to improve system efficiency. Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Purchasing, Production, and Customer Service to establish best practices for a rapidly growing manufacturing organization.
