Cost Accountant

Cost Accountant responsible for accurate costing and reporting for plant operations. Manage inventory costing records and compile product costs including direct labor, direct materials and overhead. Lead planning, reporting, and analysis of standard product costing; update standards as needed and identify potential impact. Drive continuous financial improvement and introduce process controls. Collaborate across multi-department teams to support cost accounting and resolve cost and inventory issues, including maintaining accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) with Operations and Engineering. Conduct account reconciliations and analysis focused on inventory reconciliation and cost of goods sold; investigate and report reasons for variances (PPV, revaluation, repairs, scrap). Utilize ERP systems to manage and analyze data. “LI-PROMOTE”.
