Job Summary
Coordinate the selection, ordering, and inventory management of cosmetic and skincare products used and sold in the clinic. Collaborate with dermatologists, medical staff, and vendors to evaluate product efficacy, safety, and suitability for patients. Ensure all products meet regulatory and labeling requirements, including ingredient transparency and compliance standards. Maintain accurate product records, including formulations, usage guidelines, and supplier information. Assist in the development and execution of product launches, promotions, and in-clinic merchandising displays. Train staff on product knowledge, usage, and key selling points to support patient education and retail sales. Monitor product performance, patient feedback, and sales trends to inform future product decisions. Coordinate with marketing teams to support campaigns, educational materials, and promotional events. Manage product samples and support patient consultations with appropriate recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum two years' experience in a cosmetic and/or medical dermatology office
- Experience working on electronic medical records
- Quality written and verbal communication skills
- Quality mathematics skills
- Knowledgeable of medical and cosmetic dermatology terms
- Professional in appearance and mannerisms
- Able to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others, patients and co-workers alike
- Able to prioritize tasks, understand the provider's instructions, and know when to seek information or advice
- Prior experience assisting cosmetics customers and/or patients with services or products
- Must possess manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and calculator
- stooping and bending to handle files and supplies
- mobility to complete errands or deliveries
- Includes handling of sharps and chemicals
Desired Qualifications
- Cosmetics sales experience is a plus
