Job Summary
Secondary science teacher responsible for delivering standards-based, data-driven instruction in a diverse high-need community. Duties include developing engaging, rigorous lessons aligned to district standards, participating in PLCs, utilizing formative/interim/benchmark data to drive instruction, providing targeted support via MTSS/RtI, leading paraprofessionals, and maintaining regular communication with families. Must demonstrate strong literacy and science instruction practices, collaborate with instructional coaches, and uphold state/federal policies. Advancing student growth and readiness for higher-level coursework through reflective practice and ongoing professional development. Master’s degree preferred; Colorado teaching license required.
