Job Summary
Identify mobile equipment defects and prioritize reliability improvement opportunities using mining information and reliability databases. Statistically analyze equipment performance to assess reliability, maintainability, and availability while developing maintenance procedures, standards, and specifications. Implement operational alternatives to manage forecasted expenditures and cultivate partnerships with vendors to drive equipment improvements. Provide training on root cause failure analysis, FMEA, and RCM, and maintain downtime reporting databases and KPIs within the S4-HANA system. Demonstrate visible leadership and teamwork in the surface mine maintenance environment, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.

- Excellent leadership, people, and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering or equivalent work experience in a reliability role
- Two (2) years practical experience in Operations, preferably in a mobile maintenance mining environment
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of reliability and improvement concepts: RCA, FMEA, RCM, LEAN
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Condition Monitoring techniques such as: oil and vibration analysis, thermography and/or ultrasonic emissions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Certified Plant Maintenance Manager
