Job Summary
Preparation of ore samples, process samples, and exploration samples; perform fire assay, wet laboratory, and operation of analytical instrumentation; participate in duties as assigned; requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work with minimal supervision, communicate effectively in a team; rotating schedule of nights/days; analytical-laboratory experience and familiarity with chemicals and laboratory procedures favored.
Required Qualifications
- Six (6) months experience in an analytical laboratory preferred
- Familiarity with chemicals and laboratory procedures preferred
- Knowledge of computer operation required
- Exemplary safety and attendance record required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without reasonable accommodations required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize a heavy workload required
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers in a team environment required
- The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
