Job Summary
Lead all shift operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, waste, and downtime objectives while coordinating personnel, equipment, and workflow for a high-speed corrugator. Monitor production metrics, enforce safety and quality standards, and implement corrective actions to improve performance. Supervise and develop a team of operators and helpers, manage shift handoffs, and ensure accurate reporting. Maintain readiness for audits and support continuous improvement initiatives. Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of corrugated manufacturing experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of corrugated manufacturing experience
- 2–4 years of leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of corrugator operations and high-speed manufacturing equipment
- Experience leading safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Must have attention to detail and focused concentration
- Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently
- Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow
- Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment, paper dust, varying temperatures, and elevated noise levels requiring hearing protection
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement experience preferred
